Please read this instruction booklet carefully before
installing and using the coffee maker. Only by doing
so will you be able to achieve the best results and the
maximum safety during use.

SAFETY WARNINGS
• This appliance has been built to make espresso
coffee and reheat beverages; be careful to avoid
burns from spurts of hot water or steam, or from
incorrect use of the coffee maker.
• Never touch the hot parts of the coffee maker.
• After removing the packaging, make sure that the
appliance is complete. In case of doubt, do not use
the appliance and contact professionally qualified
service personnel.
• The packaging elements (plastic bags, expanded
polystyrene, etc.) must be kept out of children's
reach, because they may be dangerous.
• This appliance is to be utilised for domestic use
only. Any other use is to be considered improper
and therefore dangerous.
• The manufacturer takes no responsibility for any
damage that may derive from incorrect, erroneous
or irrational use.
• Never touch the appliance with wet or damp hands
or feet.
• Never allow the appliance to be used by children

or incapacitated individuals without proper
supervision.
• In case of breakdown or malfunctioning, turn off
the appliance immediately and do not tamper with
it. For repairs, contact exclusively a Technical
Assistance Centre authorised by the manufacturer
and request the use of original replacement parts.
If this stipulation is ignored, the safe use of the
appliance may be compromised.
• The power supply cable of this appliance must
never be replaced by the user, because its
replacement requires the use of special tools.
Should the cable be damaged or need replacing,
contact exclusively a Technical Assistance Centre
authorised by the manufacturer, in order to avoid
any risk.
INSTALLATION
• Place the appliance on a flat work surface at a
distance from taps and sinks.
• Check that the voltage of the electrical power mains
corresponds to the voltage indicated on the
appliance information plaque. Connect the
appliance only to a power source with a minimum
delivery of 10 amps and fitted with a proper
grounding element. The manufacturer will not be
held responsible for any accidents that may be
caused by the lack of a grounding element for the
appliance.
• In the event of incompatibility between the mains
outlet and the plug of the appliance, have the plug
replaced by qualified personnel. In the event that
the cable is damaged, contact exclusively a
Technical Assistance Centre authorised by the
manufacturer, because a special tool is required for
its replacement.
• Never install the coffee maker in an environment
that can reach a temperature of less than or equal
to 0°C (if the water inside it should freeze, the
appliance might be damaged).
FILLING THE WATER TANK
To fill the water tank, lift the lid, take out the tank by
pulling it upwards (Fig. 1), and fill it with fresh, clean
water up to the 'MAX' mark. Replace it in the coffee
maker, making sure that the suction tubes are immersed
in the water.
Never operate the appliance without water in the tank.
