13. Troubleshooting
The table below contains a list of error symptoms and explains what you can do to solve the
problem if your tool fails to work properly. If the problem persists after working through the
list, please contact your nearest service workshop.
Problem

Possible Cause
Mains voltage is not applied
Float switch (3) does not
switch
Pump capacity reduces
heavily soiled and abrasive
water admixtures
Float switch (3) cannot drop
Reduces pump perfor-
mance, through severely
contaminated water and
additions in the water which
produce a grinding effect
Motor contactor disconnects
the pumps because of water
pollution that is too severe.
Water temperature too high,
motor contactor breaks
Remedy
Check mains voltage
Bring float switch into higher posi-
tion
Clean pumps
Set up pumps correctly on the pit
base
Clean pumps
Pull out power plug and clean the
pump as well as shaft
Note maximum water temperature
of 35°C!
