• In very dusty of dirty area.
Installation
• Chose the areas for installation.
• Take the Mounting Bracket and mark 2 holes on the ceiling or wall.
• Drill holes in the 2 key positions as marked.
• Insert plastic screw anchors into the holes and put Mounting Bracket
against wall surface.
• Insert and tighten mounting screws unit Mounting Brackets is fully fixed.
• 2 sets dip switches (2 dip switches for 1 set) for coding the transmit and
receive frequency to prevent interference with other RF base. Set the DIP
switch ON/OFF states as you like.
• Place the 4 AA size 1.5 V batteries on the compartment of the BR 102-F
properly.
• Insert a 9 V battery firmly into battery compartment on the rear of the
alarms. NOTE POLARITY OF CONNECTIONS. Ensure the metal tab is fully
depressed when the battery has been fitted.
NOTE: For the safety of the end user the alarm cannot be fitted without its
battery.
• Before assembly to the RF base test the correct operation of the smoke
alarms by depressing the test button on the front of alarm. The unit should
emit a loud pulsating alarm.
• Assemble the smoke alarm onto the RF base by aligning the sockets on
the RF base with the slots in the alarm.
• Fit the RF base onto the mounting plate. Lock in position by giving a clock-
wise quarter turn.
• For additional BR 102-F installation, repeat the above procedure. Please
don't place the rest units with distance longer than 30 Meters.
• Test the correct operation of the smoke alarm by depressing the test
button on the front of the alarm. The unit should emit a loud pulsating
alarm. It will then trigger the rest units.
Important!
• The ON/OFF states of two sets DIP switches should be the SAME.
• The rest BR 102-F should have the same DIP switch ON/OFF states setting
for Interconnection.
