En cas d‘utilisation commerciale ou d‘utilisation dans le secteur public, l‘utilisateur doit être instruit conformément aux règlements sur la prévention des accidents liés aux rayonnements laser. • Le fonctionnement de ce phare peut échouer à tout instant. Pour cette rai- son, il est judicieux de toujours garder à portée de main une petite lampe d‘urgence. • Lors du transport, par exemple dans un sac à dos, séparez toujours la tête du phare et la batterie. • Le corps du phare Neo peut atteindre une température de jusqu‘à 65°C. En mode veille (sans aucun refroidissement par déplacement) l‘intensité du phare est automatiquement réduite, afin d‘éviter un échauffement exagéré. • La tête du phare et la batterie sont étanches jusqu‘à 2 mètres, conformément au standard FL1, et résistants aux chocs, mais ne sont pas appropriés pour une utilisation immergée permanente. www.lupine.de... -

2 // Comment peut-on fixer le phare et la batterie ? Phare de casque Neo 2 : Passez la bande Velcro fine avec le lettrage « Lupine » sur environ 4 cm dans le côté gauche du porte-phare, puis repliez-la et attachez-la (voir Fig. 1). Maintenant, passez l‘autre extrémité au travers des rainures d‘aération du casque et par la deuxième ouverture du porte-phare. Serrez la ban- de Velcro au maximum possible, afin d‘éviter le déplacement pendant l‘utilisation (voir Fig. 2). La batterie peut soit être attachée directement sur le casque à l‘aide de la bande Velcro élastique (voir Fig. 3), soit être rangée à l‘aide de la rallonge fournie, par ex. dans le maillot ou le sac à dos. Phare frontal Neo X2 : Grâce au système « FastClick », toutes les batteries « Lupine FastClick » peuvent être attachés directement sur la bande Velcro (voir Fig. 4). Autres options : Étrier GoPro (N° art. 1070) pour le casque et fixation rapide (N° art. 225 et 231) pour le guidon. * Pour changer la tête du phare sur un autre étrier, les vis de fixation latéra- les du Neo doivent être dévissées à l‘aide d‘une clé Allen de 3 mm. -

3 // Utilisation du phare Allumer et éteindre Le projecteur est livré prêt à l‘utilisation. Il ne vous reste qu‘à charger totalement la batterie. Pour allumer le phare, appuyez brièvement sur le bouton et maintenez-le enfon- cé pour l‘éteindre. Parcourez les différents paliers en appuyant brièvement sur le bouton. Chargement de la batterie Branchez le chargeur dans la prise de courant, puis connectez la batterie au chargeur. Le cycle de chargement commence automatiquement et est indiqué par un voyant LED : LED allumée en rouge : batterie en cours de téléchargement LED allumée en vert : batterie chargée Avertissement ! Ce chargeur ne peut être utilisé que pour le chargement de batteries Li-ion. Il n‘est PAS APPROPRIÉ pour charger des batteries Ni-MH ! N‘utilisez pas de batteries sèches ! – Risque d‘explosion ! 4 // Ajuster les paliers d‘éclairage Pour adapter les paliers individuels d‘éclairage, maintenir enfoncé le bouton et attendre le clignotement de la tête de phare (env. 1 x par sec.). Dès que vous lâchez le bouton, le programme est sélectionné comme indiqué ci-dessous. Réglages de base Paliers: Explication: 0.6W + 7W 75 + 700 Lumen 0.3W + 2.5W + 7W 35 + 270 + 700 Lumen 0.3W + 1.2W + 3.5W + 7W 35 + 140 + 400 + 700 Lumen rouge+ 0.3W + 3.5W + 7W Lumière rouge faible. 5 // Autres fonctions Affichage de la tension Lorsque vous branchez la batterie sur la tête du phare, les LEDs rouges commencent à clignoter. L‘indication de tension permet d‘estimer l‘état de la batterie. Exemple: LEDs supérieures s‘allument : 1 fois par Volt 7x LEDs rouge haut LEDs inférieures s‘allument : 1 fois par 1/10 de Volt 3x LEDs rouge bas 7.3V Règle générale : Plus de 8V : pleine 7,1 à 7,9V : recharger moins de 7V : plus utilisable sauf en cas d‘urgence Avertissement de batterie vide : Lorsque la batterie est très déchargée, les LEDs rouges de la tête du phare s‘allument également. Lorsque la batterie est vide, la tête du phare clignote plusieurs fois d‘affilée. Arrêter immédiatement ! Le phare s‘éteint automatiquement. Réserve : Suite à ceci, si vous rallumez le phare, vous disposerez d‘une lumière de réserve pendant quelques instants. Important : il est impératif de recharger dès que possible la batterie. Les dé- charges profondes peuvent endommager la batterie. Les LEDs rouges clignotantes indiquent l‘activation de la réserve. www.lupine.de... -

In cases where the light is used in a public or commercial setting, users should be provided with training concerning the safety measures for laser light. • Carry a spare light with you at all times, as the product can potentially fail unexpectedly at any time. • If you transport the light, always disconnect the lamphead from the battery. • The Neo housing can heat up to 65°C/149°F . Without any movement, the lamp will dim down automatically to prevent overheating. • Lamphead and battery are waterproof and impact resistant according to the FL1 Standard, up to 2 meters. 2 // Usage of the Light Switching on and off: The light is ready for use when delivered. All you have to do is charge the batte- ry. Press the button to switch on the light and cycle through the different light modes. Keep the button pressed to switch the light off. Charging the battery: Plug the included Wiesel charger into an outlet and then connect the battery to the Wiesel. Version 1: LED red on: charging LED green on: battery is fully charged Version 2: LED green on: charging LED off: battery is fully charged Warning! This charger is to be used to charge rechargeable Li-Ion batteries only. It is NOT suitable for charging NiMH batteries! Do NOT use non-rechargeable batteries. – Risk of explosion! 3 // How to mount the light and battery? Helmetlight Neo 2 / Neo 4: First attach the thin velcro with the Lupine logo to the helmetmount (see Fig. 1), then pull the other end of the velcro through the ventilation ope- nings available on your helmet and fix it on the other side of the helmet mount. Direct the light into a straight forward position and tighten the velcro to avoid slipping of the lighthead during use (see Fig. 2). With the provided extension, the battery may be carried in your jersey or backpack. The flexible velcro strap allows to put the battery directly on the helmet (see Fig. 3). Headlight Neo X2 / Neo X4: Thanks to the battery FastClick-System you can carry all Lupine FastClick batteries directly on the headband (see Fig. 4). More Options: GoPro mount (Art.No. 1070) for the helmet and Quickrelease mount (Art.No. 225 and 231) for the handlebar. * To change the lamphead from one mount to another, you have to open the two screws on the lamphead with an 3mm allen key. www.lupine.de... - Page 11 4 // Adjust the lightlevels The dimmlevels and a couple of other useful functions can be adjusted. Keep the button pressed and wait till the main light blinks up once a second. If you release the button, the particular program as shown below is chosen. 5 // Additional functions Voltage test: After connecting the lamphead to the battery, the upper and lower red LEDs will blink to indicate the battery voltage. The voltage helps to interpret the remaining capacity. For example: 7x upper red LEDs Upper red LEDs blinks: 1 time each volt 3x lower red LEDs Lower red LEDs blinks: 1 time each 1/10 volt 7.3V Hints: More than 8V = battery fully charged 7.1 to 7.9V = recharge Below 7V = not or only partly ready for use Low battery warning: Once the remaining capacity dropped by a relevant amount, the lampheads red LEDs will turn on. If the battery is empty, the lamphead itself will start to flash a couple of times. Stop immediately! The light will switch off by itself. Reservepower: After switching the light on again, reserve power is available for a short while. Slow down since the light will be switched off automatically. Important: charge the battery in a short while. Deep discharging will harm the battery.
