COMPRESSING THE RUCKSACK IN "FLIGHT" MODE
The top of the rucksack can be compressed while in flight mode with the Fidlock buckle.
This option is not imperative but it can be done
for:
- aesthetic reasons,
- to prevent the rucksack from hanging too low
and get in the way during take off or in flight
or if there is gear inside the rucksack (rope,
mountaineering gear...),
- if the optional airbag is installed (see page 38).

KOROYD PROPACK PROTECTION

The Koroyd ProPack is a new kind of protection technology.
It reduces the seriousness of injuries
The Koroyd technology reduces the intensity of impacts and protects
the spine. The impact is absorbed by the deformation of the material.
Thin and light
Only 1.5cm thick and 150g: the Propack has the best volume / weight /
shock absorption ratio ever.

INSTALLING THE PROTECTION IN THE HARNESS

The NEO Koroyd is integrated to the Shorty and it is installed by default.
There is a dedicated compartment for it and can be accessed through the rucksack.
In case of a major impact, it might be necessary to change the protection. In order
to change it, follow these steps: remove the damaged protection, then slide the new
protection inside the compartment.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The Koroyd Propack protection is made to absorb the energy following an impact
with a partial o total destruction of the material. In case of a strong impact, a visual
check of the protection is mandatory to verify the deformation of the material. If the
protection is crushed or damaged, it must be fully replaced
In case of doubt, please contact your NEO reseller.
No modifications affecting the characteristics of the protection should be made. The
protection should only be used for what it was developed. Under any circumstance it
should be used for sports other than paragliding or speedriding. The protection does
not guarantee full protection against injuries. Only the parts covered by the protection
are protected.
