During use
WARNING
Only dive when fit and healthy, and only once familiar with the
device. Observe the regulations and recommendations issued
by recognised recreational diving clubs.
First, practice using the diving apparatus in water up to
your chest in depth. Only dive in deep water when you are
fully familiar with the diving apparatus.
Checking for leaks: No air bubbles should be visible at
connections and screw fittings.
Purge lung demand valve under water: With body vertical,
slowly and gradually breathe out. Any water that has
entered the system will be expelled with exhaled air
through the exhalation valve (non-return valve).
If any water still remains in the lung demand valve:
Press the purge valve.
When diving: Start equalising pressure even at shallow
depths.
Watch cylinder pressure on pressure gauge. On reaching
"reserve" (50 bar), you must have completed the dive.
As much as possible, only conduct no-decompression
dives.
NOTICE
During a no-decompression dive, the diver can return to the
surface of the water without breaks for decompression
(pausing at a certain depth).
