Dear customer
Thank you for having chosen a weka product.
Please read these instructions carefully, so as to avoid incorrect installation or damage to the product.
IMPORTANT!
Please check the consignment against the pack list to ensure that your weka product has arrived safety and
with all components included.
Do keep the pack list together with your receipt until the warranty period has expired,
as it enables you to identify parts. This makes it easier for us to deal with any queries or complaints you might
have.
Please note that item numbers in the pack list do not correspond to the item number in this document. For the
installation of you weka product, we recommend that you work in teams of minimum 2 people.
To prevent accidents during assembly and installation, keep children away from the site.
These instructions are subject to technical changes without prior notice. Your product might differ slightly from
that shown in the illustrations.
Do not dispose of the packaging through normal household waste! To protect the environment, separate the
paper, cardboard and plastic packaging and dispose of these materials through recycling.
Timber
Differences in colour, knotholes and minor cracks are normal and do not impair the strength of the elements.
They give your product its natural look and are therefore not defects.
Prior to installation
A minimum room height of 210 cm is needed for installation of the cabin. The distance from the wall must be at
least 10 cm.
The floor must be flat and level in order to prevent the risk of malfunctions. Ideally, the cabin should be used in a
dry, well-ventilated room.
A stone or tile floor is a practical and attractive floor option.
For other floors, a stone slab with the minimum dimensions of 40 x 50 cm must be placed beneath the oven to
prevent damage to the floor.
Safety instructions
Do not allow children to enter the cabin unsupervised! Never place any objects on the sauna stove! - RISK OF
FIRE!
Before starting the stove, always check that there are no flammable objects near the stove.
Sauna steam concentrates must only be used in diluted form. Strictly follow the use instructions on the
concentrate containers.
Inside the sauna, do not use adhesives, other than wood glue.
After the sauna session, leave the door open so that the room can cool. Ensure proper ventilation in the room in
which the sauna is installed.
Attach the warning sign in a prominent position near the sauna stove.
Care instructions
Regularly clean your sauna.
The exceptionally mild and beneficial sauna climate is enhanced by the heat diffusion and storage properties of
solid timber.
Therefore do not treat or coat the timber elements.
If the sauna is not used for a prolonged period of time, we recommend heating it at least once a month for about
30 minutes. This prevents undesired moisture absorption.
As timber is a natural product, some resin might be diffuse to the surface.
When dry, resin residue can be easily removed with fine sanding paper.
