Installation and Initial Start-Up BK-USV

Never plug together the X0 and X2 power connectors in the BK-USV . This may damage the device beyond

repair .
1. Optimise the motor current on the door control. To do this, set P 910 = 2 to view the motor current in the display.
Use P 140 to set the motor current to the minimum depending on the normal mains voltage. After the motor
current has been optimised, all door functions must be available under all circumstances.
2. Set the operating parameter required for UPS operation on the control BK 150 FUE-H / FUE-1: A.490 = 1.
3. Switch off door control. Disconnect the mains connection for the door control from the on-site power supply.

4. Connect the UPS connecting cable with 4-pin plug (WX1) to the door control as indicated in the wiring diagram.
5. Connect the UPS connecting cable with 4-pin plug (WX1) to the BK-USV (X1).
6. Insert the power input cable for the BK-USV (X0) into the on-site CEE plug.
7. Connect the power input for the door control (CEE plug) with the power output (X2) of the BK-USV
(CEE coupling).
8. Only old BK-UPS: Open the BK-UPS, insert cable (4) into the batteries.
9. Switch on the BK-USV with the main switch (1). The BK-USV beeps, the green LED (5) indicates that there
is a power supply.
10. Switch on the door control and perform initial start-up of the door in accordance with the instructions.
– The batteries are partially charged when the BK-USV is shipped. A full charge and guaranteed function is only
possible after 12 h charging time.
