Maintenance-free

A Free-control installation is maintenance-
free. It is sufficient to replace the batteries
of the battery-operated components from
time to time. For this, see recommendation in
the "Technical Data" section.
Malfunction
Wireless magnetic
sensor does not react
when pressed
Wireless adapter or
1-channel/3-wire
wireless receiver does
not react
Wireless adapter or
1-channel/3-wire wire-
less receiver sometimes
fails to switch when
the wireless magnetic
sensor is pressed.
Cause
Dead battery or poor battery
contact, magnet outside of the
recognition range
Wireless magnetic sensor on the
wireless adapter or 1-chanel/3-wire
wireless receiver not programmed
or improperly programmed.
The wireless adapter or the
1-channel/3-wire wireless receiver
is not functioning
Radio signal is not reaching the
wireless adapter or the
1-channel/3-wire wireless receiver
(out of transmission range)
Devices are at the edge of the
possible transmission range
Sources of interference adversely
affect the radio transmission.
(e.g. other wireless transmitters,
altered climatic conditions, ...)
Remedy
Check battery contact
Check battery polarity
Replace battery
Reposition magnet
Repeat programming procedure
Check wireless adapter or 1-chan-
nel/3-wire wireless receiver
(supply voltage)
If possible, install wireless magnetic
sensor in another location.
If possible, install wireless magnetic
