Battery – battery replacement
To replace batteries, carefully remove the
housing hood. Remove battery 4 and insert
a new battery of the same type. Do not use
rechargeable batteries. Ensure correct polarity
and unobstructed contact when inserting the
batteries. Then, reattach the housing hood.
The wireless magnetic sensor does not need to
be re-linked to the 1-channel/3-wire wireless
receiver or wireless adapter after replacing
the batteries if this has already been done.
The battery life is approx. 2.5 to 3 years. We
therefore recommend replacing the battery
every 2 years.
Installation and connection of the 1-chan-
nel/3-wire wireless receiver
• The 1-channel/3-wire wireless receiver
should be installed in a distribution box/
junction box.
• We do not recommend installation in an
extractor hood with metallic surfaces.
• If installation of the wireless receiver in an
extractor hood is unavoidable, always
follow the instructions for ensuring
electrical safety, personal protection, or the
installation instruction of the extractor
hood manufacturer.
• 3 connection wires are necessary to connect
the wireless receiver.
