NOTE
To save fuel and prolonge the lifespan of the pump, use the CHOKE LEVER to CHOKE (CLOSE)
position only when it is required.
□ Do not crush the suction and discharge pipes [Fig. 26].
□ Protect the suction and discharge hoses from possible vehicle passages and avoiding to trample
the suction and discharge hoses [Fig. 27].
7. STOPPING THE PUMP
■ Prior to disconnecting the water fittings, make sure the pump has stopped.
■ Never disconnect the fittings when the pump is running.
□ If the delivery hose is equipped with a valve, stop the engine before closing the valve [Fig. 28].
STOPPING THE ENGINE
1.
Move speed control to IDLE position [Fig. 29];
2.
Turn the ON/OFF switch to OFF (STOP) position [Fig. 30];
3.
Close the fuel cock [Fig. 31];
4.
Slightly pull the starter rope until it becomes a bit difficult. Let it come back to initial position
[Fig. 22].
IN CASE OF LOW TEMPERATURE (≤ 0°C)
After stopping the engine:
1.
Remove the drain plug from the pump body [Fig. 32];
2.
Drain the water from the body pump [Fig. 33];
3.
Empty water from suction and discharge pipes.
