□ Check that the suction pipe is well set in water.
□ Check that the suction and discharge hose are free of narrow throats or bends.
□ Check that the priming of the pump has been carried out.
The following instructions apply to each starting:
1.
Open the fuel valve [Fig. 18];
2.
Put ON/OFF switch to ON (START) [Fig. 19];
3.
Put the speed control to halfway [Fig. 20];
4.
If the engine is cold, put the CHOKE LEVER to CHOKE position (CLOSED) [Fig. 21];
5.
Slightly pull the Recoil starter rope until it becomes a bit difficult. This is the "compression" point
[Fig. 22]. Let the rope coil back to its initial position;
6.
Then rapidly pull it [Fig. 23];
□ Do not fully pull the rope out and do not suddenly release it. Handle it gently until it is reeled in.
7.
Once the engine has started, put the speed control to halfway [Fig. 24];
8.
Let the engine run, IDLE, for 3 minutes.
NOTE
If the engine does not start, although you have tried several times, contact your WORMS
Entreprises dealer or the closest After Sales Service.
6. USE
NOTE
The flow of the pump is controlled by adjusting the engine speed. The flow rate is increased by
moving the speed control to FAST (HIGH SPEED) position. The flow rate is reduced by moving
the speed control to IDLE position.
When the engine is warm :
1.
Put the CHOKE LEVER to RUN position [Fig. 25];
2.
For self-priming, place speed control to high speed position. [Fig. 20];
3.
Adjust the pump flow using the speed control lever.
