"Er" is displayed when the pulse value
is below 40 or above 181.
Condition/Cause
• Appears when the
blood-pressure could
not be measured
accurately.
The pressure is 281 mmHg
or higher.
Appears when the
batteries are running low.
Detected problem in the
device.

Condition/Cause
Measurement is under way.
Pulse detected.
Corrective action
Apply cuff properly and
measure again.
If the pressure does not
automatically decline
during measurement,
immediately press the
"START/STOP" switch
and turn the unit off.
Take the measurement
again.
Replace the batteries.
Contact the vendor.
