Warnings and cautions are grouped according to the type of hazard that
they pose to the user or equipment: biohazardous, chemical, electrical,
and mechanical, including crushing, pinching, and heavy lifting. The
following conventions are used in this manual:
DANGER! Danger signifies an action that may lead to injury or
death.
WARNING! A warning indicates an operation that could cause
personal injury if precautions are not obeyed.
CAUTION! A caution indicates an operation that could cause damage to
the instrument if precautions are not obeyed.
Note: A note emphasizes significant information in a procedure or
description.
This instrument and its components meet or exceed the requirements
of the following regulatory agencies. Applicable labels for these
qualifications have been attached to the instrument.

Federal Communications Commission (FCC)

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for
a Class A digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the Federal
Communications Commission Compliance (FCC) rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference
when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This
equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio frequency energy
and, if not installed and used in accordance with the Prepare Your
Laboratory guide can cause harmful interference to radio
communications. Operation of the equipment in a residential area is
likely to cause harmful interference, in which case you will be required
to correct the interference at your own expense. Changes or
modifications not expressly approved by the manufacturer could void
your authority to operate the equipment in compliance with FCC rules.
