The MSDS (material safety data sheet) document contains information
on potential hazards and how to use a chemical or biological product.
Before you use any chemical or biological product, review the MSDS
provided by the manufacturer or supplier for information on the use,
storage, handling, and emergency procedures related to the material.
This topic provides some general safety procedures for working with
biohazardous and hazardous chemical materials.

CAUTION! Do not store or place containers with fluids on top of the
instrument as fluids may drip into the instrument and cause electrical
damage.
The instrument does not include harmful materials; however, the
materials used in microarray preparation, compounds, and chemicals
used in the instrument may contain hazardous materials. Comply with
national and local regulatory requirements and obey all laboratory-
related safety procedures and guidelines, including biosafety
instructions set in accordance with the biorisk levels identified by the
laboratory site. Review all applicable MSDSs before using hazardous
materials.
WARNING! Biohazardous Material. Always place biohazardous
material in appropriately labeled containers. There is a risk of
injury, illness, or death if you do not obey proper procedures
for handling biohazardous materials.
