Laser Hazards

WARNING! Pinching Hazard. Turn off and unplug the
instrument before carrying out service procedures around
assemblies that can pinch objects as they close.
Puncture Hazards
Some assemblies may create a puncture hazard.
WARNING! Puncture Hazard. Turn off and unplug the
instrument when carrying out service procedures inside the
instrument. The scan head can potentially move without
warning during a service operation.
Fire Hazard
The instrument requires adequate ventilation. Allow at least a 6-inch
clearance space around instrument air vents at all times.
WARNING! Fire Hazard. Do not block any instrument vents.
The instrument may overheat and pose a fire hazard.
Heavy Lifting Hazard
Always obtain help when moving heavy equipment. Turn off all power
sources before disconnecting them from the instrument.
Lift the instrument only by the molded lifting handgrips provided on the
base of the instrument.
WARNING! Heavy Lifting Hazard. At least two people are
required to lift the instrument.
This section is applicable for systems that have a laser. The embedded
laser device produces visible radiation. To prevent injury to your eyes,
do not look directly into the anticipated path of the laser beam or at
any specular reflections of the laser beam
