The instrument contains a number of moving parts that may cause
injury. It is important that you do not defeat interlock mechanisms and
that you obey all warnings and cautions placed on the instrument.
Never reach into the instrument while it is operating. Only a trained and
qualified FSE may service the instrument.
In normal operation, some assemblies move under computer control. If
power to the instrument is suddenly interrupted or interlocks are
tripped, some moving assemblies may complete their current motion
before stopping. Make sure by inspection that the instrument
assemblies can safely resume motion when power is restored. If
necessary, contact Technical Support.
Crushing Hazards
Clamping mechanisms provide enough force to be considered a
crushing hazard.
WARNING! Crushing Hazard. Turn off and unplug the
instrument before carrying out service procedures around
assemblies that operate with high force, and can crush objects.
Pinching Hazards
Some assemblies may create a pinching hazard.
