Environmental Conditions
Make sure that the instrument and work areas are kept clean, for safety
reasons and to avoid contaminating samples. This is especially
important when working with biohazardous materials and chemicals.
Clean up spilled compounds or chemicals immediately to prevent liquid
entering the equipment, and dispose of the liquids properly. Comply
with local regulatory requirements and obey all laboratory-related
safety procedures and guidelines, including biosafety instructions set in
accordance with the biorisk levels identified by the laboratory site.
The instrument should be used indoors in a laboratory that complies
with the environmental conditions recommended in the standard
laboratory procedures for your laboratory.
WARNING! Do not use the instrument in an area where there is
a risk of explosion.
Only a properly trained and qualified FSE should remove the instrument
panels for service procedures, interfere with normal operation of
interlocks, or attempt to relocate the instrument.
WARNING! Contact Technical Support if the instrument needs
to be moved. The instrument is heavy. Moving the instrument
could result in personal injury or equipment damage.
Note: Turn off all power sources before disconnecting them from the
instrument.
