Quick start guide
Program setting of SMS 40 can be performed via the
start guide or directly in the menu system.
1. Start the heat pump/indoor module and select
SMS 40 in menu 5.2 "system settings" (menu 5.2.4
"accessories" for NIBE F1345 and VVM500).
2. Go to menu 4.1.4 in your heat pump/indoor mod-
ule (menu 5.3.5 if your heat pump/indoor module
has software version 2041 or earlier) and add the
mobile numbers that are to have access to change
and receive status information from the heat
pump/indoor module. Mobile numbers must in-
clude country code e.g. +46 XXXXXXXX.
3. If you wish to receive a SMS-message in the event
of the alarm mark the box to the right of the tele-
phone number.
NOTE
Telephone numbers provided must be able to
receive SMS messages.

If the mobile telephone also has the Android operating
system the mobile application "NIBE Mobile App" can
be used". In the event of an alarm, SMS 40 can send
an SMS to the programmed recipient and present it
graphically.

3. Download
