IV.4 Installation
IV.4.1 Vertical wall model
The support fastener(s) are fixed to the wall by means of appropriate anchoring bolts at least 10 mm
in diameter and steel washer of minimum 24 mm – maximum 30 mm
This model can also be installed on a tripod (option), but must necessarily by anchored to the wall by
the upper fastener.
150 extra-insulated vertical wall model
The distance between the two wall brackets is 500 mm from the factory, however it is possible to
change this to 800 mm. In order to do this, it is first necessary to remove the upper bracket and
unscrewing the 2 bolts.
Locate the bracket in the 800 mm position, ensuring that it is in the correct orientation. Using the same
2 bolts.
IV.4.2 Horizontal model
Two fasteners are anchored to the wall by means of bolts at least 10 mm in diameter and steel washer
of minimum 24 mm –maximum 30 mm
IV.4.2.1 Version with water inlet and outlet tubes on the hood. It is equipped ex factory to be installed
horizontally on a wall, the water supply pipes being placed on the right side of the device ( Fig.5).
If the pipes are placed on the left, it is imperative to take out the electrical base so as to position it with
the resistor plunging downwards to the device. Reverse the blue and red pipe identification rings. ( fig.4
et 6)
The hot water connection must necessarily be carried out on the upper pipes (Fig.4).
For an installation on the floor or the ceiling, it is necessary to provide a set of belts (optional). In such
a case, please refer to the instructions above and to the installation instructions enclosed with the set
of bets.
IV.4.2.2 Version with water inlet and outlet tubes on the case collar (fig.7 et 8).
This device is designed to be installed horizontally on the wall, with the feeder pies placed towards the
bottom. It is possible to install it on the ceiling (fig. 9 and 10) with a set of belts (optional).
IV.4.3 Models on base
The choice of a perfectly plan and level installation service will ensure the correct stability of the device.
Do not forget to place the three legs under the device, distanced from each other at an angle of 120°,
otherwise the device may fall and suffer irreversible deterioration. The legs are in the lower polystyrene
wedge of the packaging.
Leg installation instructions ( Fig.11):
• When you have removed the packaging, turn and place the lower end of the water heater on the floor,
as close to the intended installation point as possible.
• Tilt the device slightly so that you can place the first leg under the water heater.
• Tilt the device again slightly so that you can place the second leg, at a 120° from the first.
• Straighten the device to place the third leg.
• These three legs must necessarily be fixed on the device as follows:
• Place the screws and point them so as to pierce a front hole in the case.
• Screw in the 6 screws.
• Fix the 3 legs without fail on the floor to anchor the device properly.
WARNING : Make sure that the 3 legs are set at a 120° angle from each other to secure proper stability
for your device.
IV.5 Water supply connection
The plastic nozzles inserted in the water inlet and outer tubes are necessary for the water heater to function
properly.
Connect the device according to the installation diagrams below.
1. The water heater must necessarily be installed with a safety assembly connected to the cold water pipe
according to the national standards in force (Fig.2, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10). We recommend membrane type
assemblies. The safety assembly must be installed as close to the water heater's cold water inlet as
possible, and the FLOW OF WATER MUST NEVER BE OBSTRUCTED by any accessory. The outlet of the
safety assembly must never be obstructed, and must be connected, via a funnel that can keep at least 20
mm air to the open air, to vertical drain pipes with a diameter at least equal to the connecting pipes of the
device. These pipes must be installed in an non-freezing, downward sloping environment.
It is recommended to install the safety assembly as low as possible so that the device can always be emptied
sufficiently, and the removal of electrical components for maintenance works made easier.
