Machine setup:

Assemble your Green Star™ Elite with the Ho-
mogenizing blank (open) (25) and securely
fasten the drain plug

Place a bowl under the Juice outlet (17)
Cashew-poppy-sweets
• 1 cup sprouted wheat berries (soak for 12
hours until small sprout tips emerge)
• 1/4 cup poppy seeds
• 1/4 cup soaked sunflower seeds
• 1 cup cashews
• 1/2 TSP vanilla pith
• 4 TBSP honey

Mix wheat berries (soaked), sunflower
seeds (soaked), cashew and poppy seeds
together
and puree the mixtu-
re through the machine

Collect the mixture from the juice outlet
into a bowl

Add vanilla pith and honey and mix

Roll into balls and serve on a plate

cream pie
• 1 cup soaked almonds
• 1/2 cup sesame seeds
• 1 cup cashews
• 1/2 cup raisins
• 1/2 cup pitted dates
• 1/2 cup pecans
• 1 TSP vanilla
• 2 TSP honey
• 7 sliced frozen bananas (peeled)
• 1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries
• 1 kiwi
• 3 large strawberries

Run the almonds, cashews, sesa-
me seeds, pecans, dates and raisins
through the Green Star™ Elite with the
Homogenizing blank (open) (25)

Mix in the vanilla and honey; knead to
form dough

Then roll the dough onto a lightly greased
baking tray Let crust sit for 3 to 4 hours or
place in a food dehydrator (e g the Excali-
bur dehydrator, available from your Green
Star vendor or Keimling Naturkost, see
page 2) for about 45 minutes

Grind frozen bananas and blueberries in
the machine together to make ice cream
If the machine jams, briefly use the reverse
switch to dislodge (set the switch to the Re-
verse position)

Immediately wrap the ice cream into the
crust

Top with slices of strawberries and kiwi
