1 Übersicht der Bedienelemente und
Anschlüsse
(Abb. 1 und 2)
1 Digitaldisplay: zeigt die Gerätenummer des an-
gewählten Multiplexers an sowie alle Eingabe-
vorgänge über die Zifferntastatur (6) und - bei
Drücken der Taste „CLEAR" (5) - kurzzeitig den
Code für die eingestellte Übertragungsrate (sie-
he Kap. 6.1.2)
2 Taste „SETUP" zum Wechseln in den Einstell-
modus
3 Tasten zum Einstellen der Fernbedienung auf
den zu steuernden Gerätetyp
Nach jeder Inbetriebnahme ist die Fernbedienung
auf den Gerätetyp „16-Kanal-Farbmultiplexer" vor-
eingestellt (LED über der Taste „COLOR 16CH"
leuchtet), zur Steuerung des S/W-Multiplexers
TVMP-1600 muss sie mit der Taste „B & W 16CH"
auf den Gerätetyp „16-Kanal-S/W-Multiplexer"
umgestellt werden. Siehe dazu Kapitel 6.1.1.
4 Taste „UNIT" zum Wechseln zwischen Bedien-
modus und Anwahlmodus
Bedienmodus (LED über der Taste leuchtet):
der angewählte Multiplexer kann gesteuert
werden (siehe dazu Kapitel 7.1)
Anwahlmodus (LED über der Taste blinkt):
der Multiplexer kann über seine Gerätenum-
mer angewählt werden (siehe dazu Kapitel 7.2)
Im Einstellmodus wird die Taste bei der Ein-
stellung der Übertragungsrate verwendet (siehe
Kap. 6.1.2).
5 Taste „CLEAR": dient zum Annullieren einer Num-
merneingabe über die Zifferntastatur (6) und zur
kurzzeitigen Anzeige des Codes („C1", „C2", „C3"
oder „C4") für die eingestellte Übertragungsrate
(siehe Kap. 6.1.2) im Display
Im Einstellmodus wird die Taste bei der Umstel-
lung der Fernbedienung auf den jeweils anderen
Gerätetyp („16-Kanal-S/W-Multiplexer" oder „16-
Kanal-Farbmultiplexer") verwendet. Siehe dazu
Kap. 6.1.1.

1 Digital display: shows the unit number of the se-
lected multiplexer and all entries made via the nu-
merical keys (6) and - in case the key "CLEAR"
(5) is pressed - the code for the adjusted trans-
mission rate for a short time (see chapter 6.1.2)
2 Key "SETUP" to select the setting mode
3 Keys to set the remote control to the unit type to
be controlled
Each time the remote control is set into opera-
tion, it is preset to the unit type "16-channel
colour multiplexer" (LED above the key "COLOR
16CH" lights up). To control the black-and-white
multiplexer TVMP-1600, it must be set to the unit
type "16-channel B/W multiplexer" with the key
"B & W 16CH". See chapter 6.1.1.
4 Key "UNIT" to change between control mode and
selecting mode
Control mode (LED above the key lights up):
the selected multiplexer can be controlled (see
chapter 7.1)
selecting mode (LED above the key flashes):
the multiplexer can be selected via its unit
number (see chapter 7.2)
In the setting mode the key is used when setting
the transmission rate (see chapter 6.1.2).
5 Key "CLEAR": cancelling of an entry made via the
numerical keys (6) and for short-time indication of
the code ("C1, "C2", "C3", or "C4") for the set
transmission rate (see chapter 6.1.2) in the display
In the setting mode the key is used when setting
the remote control to the respective other unit
type ("16-channel B/W multiplexer" or "16-chan-
nel colour multiplexer"). See chapter 6.1.1.
6 Numerical keys

8 Bedientasten zur Steuerung des Multiplexers;
entsprechen den jeweiligen Bedientasten am
Multiplexer (siehe Tabelle im Kapitel 7.1)
9 Buchse „POWER" zum Anschluss des mitgelie-
ferten Steckernetzgerätes
10 Schalter für den 100-Ω-Abschlusswiderstand
Schalter auf „ON" stellen,
wenn der Eingang „RS485 IN" (11a) nicht an-
geschlossen ist
Schalter auf „OFF" stellen,
wenn am Eingang „RS485 IN" (11a) eine wei-
tere Fernbedienung angeschlossen ist
11 8-polige RJ45-Modularbuchsen „RS485 IN/OUT"
für die Steuerung des Multiplexers
bei Anschluss einer Fernbedienung
(siehe Kap. 5.1 und Abb. 3 bzw. 4)
den Ausgang „OUT" (11b) mit der RS-485-
