SAFETY EQUIPMENT TO BE WORN DURING USE
Always wear safety glasses or a face mask when using the device.
The use of the device can produce dangerous exhaust gases
from the combustion of old paints, lubricants, sealants, glues,
etc. These exhaust gases can be toxic. Always use appropriate
protective masks or respirators.
Always use protective gloves with adequate thermal resistance
when using the device. The high temperatures produced by the
use of OC 0350 can cause severe burns on contact with the
heated part.
Always wear protective work clothing without metal parts when
working with the unit. When exposed to these parts of the
variable magnetic fi eld with metal parts, they can be heated to
high temperatures and cause clothing to burn or ignite.
ELECTROMAGNETIC EFFECTS
The electromagnetic fi eld (EMP) can aff ect implanted medical
devices. The device is not intended for use by users of pacemakers
or other implanted medical devices.
During work, maintain a safe distance between the body parts
and the heated inductor, as specifi ed in this manual.
Short-term exposure of tissues to a high-intensity, time-varying
magnetic fi eld can lead to tissue heating by the induced current.
Long-term exposure to a magnetic fi eld of high intensity and
variable time can lead to
• adverse eff ects on nerve activity
• tiredness
• headaches
• disorders of blood cell production
