The remote control is supplied with 2xAA batteries. Remove the battery cover from the underside of the remote control
and fit them into place, taking note of the correct orientation of the batteries. Replace the battery cover. Once the
batteries have been inserted, 'Pair' will be displayed on the remote screen for a period of 30 seconds.
Pairing the Remote Control
Please follow the steps below to pair the remote control with the product.
1. Ensure that the receiver has been connected to the product by pushing in the 3.5mm plug fully into the jack (Fig 12).
2. Switch on the main switch of the product (Fig 27A). An audible beep will be heard and the product will start advertising
its Bluetooth signal for a period of 30 seconds.
3. Within this 30 second period, press and hold 'Button 6 - Enter' on the remote until 'Pair' appears on the display (Fig
A, below).
4. Bring the remote near the Bluetooth receiver and the product will begin flashing its lights and beeping. If this
does not happen, the 30 second advertising period may have elapsed. This can be started again by pressing the
Bluetooth pairing button on the on board controls (Fig 27) or by switching the product's main switch (Fig 27A) off for
15 seconds and back on again.
5. While the product is flashing and beeping, press 'Button 6 - Enter' to pair the remote to the product. When paired,
the product will stop flashing and beeping and you will be presented with the time setup screen on the remote (Fig
B, below). Please follow the steps below to set up the time and date for the remote. This is important for the correct
functioning of the 7-day 24-hour timer.
