Cleaning
The following work may only be performed by users who have been instructed accordingly by the operator.
Cleaning staff must be instructed by the building operator on safe use of the system and be made aware of the
dangers of window units.

Injuries caused by impact, crushing and pinching!
Secure the window unit against unintentional activation before starting cleaning work.

Cleaning the outside of the drive
The surfaces of the drive may be cleaned and maintained by the operator and appropriately instructed users.
Make sure that the drive does not have any direct contact with water or cleaning agents or solvents during

window cleaning.
Use a soft damp cloth to wipe soiling off the surfaces.

Do not use cleaning agents or solvents.

Cleaning the window
Follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions.

Maintenance
The following work may only be carried out by experts and by service technicians authorised by GEZE.
The system must not be used during maintenance (repair and setting work).
The operator must ensure that the window unit is working perfectly.
The maintenance and repair work must be performed by properly trained personnel authorised by GEZE.

Have the safety technology of the window unit checked according to the maintenance interval.

Maintenance interval

Maintenance tasks
Check the fasteners and screws of the drive system for a tight fit.

Check the function and condition of the mechanical elements for the following:
X
à Imbalance or signs of wear
à Damage to fastening parts
Check the electrical connections of the drive system.

Remove soiling from the drive, fitting and window.
X
Check the smooth movement of the hinges in the fitting.
X
Grease the fitting regularly.
X
Lubricate the fitting components with multi-purpose grease.
X
Check that the CE mark, the warning notices and rating plates are undamaged.

In order to maintain the value of the window unit as long as possible and to ensure reliable and safe operation of
the window unit in the long term, the manufacturer recommends concluding a maintenance contract.
