7.Filter cleansing and filter change
In case the suction power is found insufficient even after the filter has been
cleaned, check the following points.
Filter change with protective clothing/equipment and inhalation protection only.
Changing the filter cartridge:
Switch off the downstream-connected fume extraction device and disconnect it from the

mains.
Adherence the hand crank of the FPV device and dissolve the lock nut.

Remove the hand crank and the lock nut.
●
Open the device's top lid.
●
Disconnect the grounding line from the cartridge.
●
Take out the cartridge.
●
Insert the new cartridge with grounding plug toward grounding flag
●
The new cartridge should fit correct on the supporting ring.
●
Connect the grounding line.
●
Close the top lid.
●
Attach the lock nut hand-tight
●
Attach the hand crank and fasten it with the lock nut
●
Connect the downstream-connected fume extraction device with the mains and switch it
●
on.
Emptying the dust collection box:
Switch off the downstream-connected fume extraction device and disconnect the mains
●
plug.
Open the maintenance door.
●
Pull the sliding retainer to the front and take out the dust collection box.
●
Dispose the dust in an appropriate case, according to the respective directive.
●
Re-insert the dust collection box and strongly push back the sliding retainer.
●
Close the maintenance door.
●
Connect the fume extraction device with the mains and switch it on.
●
If you wiash to have low-contamination disposal, use an antistatic dust collection bag
●
that is inserted in the dust collection box.
FPV 100 V4.30
The dust collection box is to be emptied in regular intervals. Beforehand,
both the fume extraction device and the FPV device have to be switched
off.
