4.Initial operation, set-up and electrical
connection
The filter cartridge pre-filter is a pre-filtering module connected between the suction point

and a fume extraction device.
The device is supplied ready to plug in.
●
Install the collection element, extraction pipe and, if need be, other accessories.
●
Connect the downstream-connected fume extraction device with the mains supply.
●
Turn on the power switch of the downstream-connected fume extraction system.
●
Optional extensions of the filter cartridge pre-filter
1. Differential pressure switch Art. No. 14177 :
monitors the filter's differential pressure (degree of filter saturation) and closes a relay
contact at reach of the preset value (500 – 2500Pa).

2. Precoating element:
