1.Functionality

FPV 100 Series
Application range: Pre-filtering of dry dust as generated in mechanical material processing
such as milling, drilling, grinding or laser machining of materials that are neither oiled nor
sticky. By a pre-treatment (precoating) process of the filter cartriges with Precofix 200 the
extraction of tacky substances as they are generated for example by laser machining of
plastics, wood, rubber etc. is rendered possible.
Functional principle: The polluted air is collected by the collection element (hood, hose)
and piped into the pre-filtration device via a pipe or a flexible tube.
The dust particles are collected by the filter cartridges (filtration efficiency >95%).
Manual cleansing of the filter cartridge is carried out by turning the hand crank. In doing so,
the cartridge's folds will gently be hit by two paddles, beating off coarse and dry dust
particles.
The dust particles of which the filter is cleaned during this process are collected in a dust
collection box and can easily be disposed. If necessary, a low-contamination disposal can
be realised by inserting an antistatic dust collection bag into the dust collection box.
Afterwards, the pre-cleaned air is piped into a fume extraction device that is connected
downstream and meets the respective requirements.
