by selecting (positioning) the anchor point properly.
It is crucial to safety to ensure prior to any work
assignment that there is enough free space F at the
work site under the user (stand space) (prevention
of an impact on the ground or on an obstacle.)
1. How to fix the flexible anchor line at an an-
chor point: Hook the carabiner of the guide rope
at the anchor point and make sure that it is properly
closed (e.g. screw lock tightened). Make sure that
the carabiner is freely movable in the anchor point
and protected against damage.
Protect the guide rope against sharp-edged objects
(e.g. by means of edge protection).
Maximum nominal load:
Grip 12: 140 kg / Grip 11: 100 kg
(= maximum weight of user incl. tools and gear)
CAUTION! When using these products in a fall pro-
tection system, it is imperative to observe the perti-
nent specifications contained in the manufacturer's
information for the products used!

2. How to fix the fall arrester at a fall arrest
harness acc. to EN 361:
Only a fall arrest harness may be used as the
body holding device in a fall arrest system.
Hook the carabiner of the connection between fall
arrester and fall arrest harness (rope with carabiner
or carabiner only) into the fall arrest eyelet (identi-
fied with a letter A) in the chest region or the dorsal
region and make sure that it is closed properly (e.g.
screw lock tightened).
