Connect the connecting wires of the battery box with the board. Pay attention to the polarity: The
black wire (minus) must be connected to the GND connector on the left side, the red wire (plus) must
be connected to the +4.5 V connector on the board. There is a reverse polarity protection diode on
the board. If you interchange the wires, nothing gets broken, but the display will remain dark.
The game is now perfectly assembled. Now comes the big moment for the first tests. Insert three bat-
tery cells. Use 1.5 V AA alkaline cells; alternatively, 1.2 V battery cells, with which the display bright-
ness will reduce. If everything has been correctly connected, two racquets, which can be moved with
the potentiometers, appear on the display.
Attach the knobs and adjust them, so that the pointers point to the racquets. You can now tighten the
grub screws.
Mount the lens in front of the screen, but not until everything functions correctly. Double-sided tape is
supplied to stick the disc onto the housing.
To close the magnetic lid of the game, slightly push the edge of the assembly tray to the inside. This
may be a nuisance, when you want to remove the coins from the housing later. Therefore cut the
edge that is no longer needed, carefully, with a sharp knife or scissors.
