Prepare four wire sections. Two simple wires of 3 cm and 12 cm lengths must be stripped and tinned
to a length of approx. 5 mm. If you still have little experience in soldering, then the tinning of the cable
ends will be a good exercise, where nothing can go wrong. You will find a small soldering tutorial in the
ELO magazine (www.elo-web.de). The longer wires with a length of 15 cm must have an additional
free area with a distance of 3 cm from the left end. Cut the insulation with a sharp knife and carefully
pull it slightly apart. Also tin the free points. If you have any difficulties doing this, you can also use
separate wires, which will be connected on the board.
Use the four prepared wires for wiring of the potentiometers. The external connections of both poten-
tiometers are located on the terminals P1 and P4. The middle connections (grinders) are located on
P2 (left) and P3 (right).
