4.2 Cleaning or changing

ATTENTION:
The filters may not be machine-washed or cleaned in a
dishwashing-machine.
1. Switch the appliance off and observe the instructions
under
Chapter 3.2, "Switching off and retracting pow-
er cord".
2. Empty the dust container,

3. Remove the cover from the dust container by pulling it
off the dust container over a dustbin.
4. Keep holding the cover low over a dustbin. First remove
the filter screen by turning it counter-clockwise off the
cover (Fig. 23).
NOTE:
If your vacuum cleaner is also equipped with a filter
fleece (optional), pull this off of the filter screen now and
clean it,

5. Then twist the central lamellae filter off the cover by
turning it counter-clockwise (Fig. 24).
6. For a rough cleaning beat the dirt from both parts by
lightly tapping them from all sides over a dustbin
(Fig. 25).
7. To thoroughly clean the central lamellae filter without
water, use the supplied furniture brush as shown
(Fig. 26).
