1. Switch off the cylinder vacuum cleaner with the on/off
switch (Fig. 14/1) and pull the plug from the mains sock-
et.
2. Keep the plug in your hand.
WARNING:
Danger of injury! During retraction the power cord can
whip around, become an obstacle or overthrow objects.
3. Push the cord retracting button (Fig. 14/2) to retract the

power cord.
To transport the cylinder vacuum cleaner you can car-
ry it by the carrying-handle (Fig. 151/) or the transportation
handle (Fig. 15/2)
WARNING:
Danger of injury! When leaving your working-area, switch
off the appliance and mind the notices at
"Switching off and retracting power cord".
For storage, you can hook the storage hook (Fig. 16/1)
of the telescopic tube into the storage bracket (Fig. 16/2) at
the bottom of the cylinder vacuum cleaner.
ATTENTION:
Never store the appliance next to heat sources (e. g.
stoves or radiators). Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight.
Heat can damage the appliance.
If you want to store the appliance for a prolonged peri-
od, empty the dust container and clean it as well as the fil-
ter.
Always store the appliance in a cool, dry place.
