Your vacuum cleaner is equipped with the following filters:
Central lamellae filter (Fig. 19/1)
Dust and dirt particles can become attached to the cen-
tral lamellae filter and impair the airflow.
- Cleaning: To maintain suction power, clean the fil-
ter after each vacuuming session.
- If the central lamellae filter is very dirty or it is no long-
er possible to clean it, replace it with a new filter,

*Depending on the model and features, a filter fleece
might be included in the scope of delivery. The filter
fleece increases the length of the intervals between
cleaning and changing the central lamellae filter and is
easier to clean. It should be sufficient to check/clean the
central lamellae filter every three months, provided you
observe the following maintenance intervals for the filter
fleece.
- Cleaning: To maintain suction power, clean the
filter fleece after each vacuuming session.
- If the filter fleece is very dirty or it is no longer possible
to clean it, replace it with a new one,
"Cleaning / changing the optional* filter fleece".
Motor protection filter (Fig. 21/1)
- Checking: Check the motor protection filter each time
you empty the dust container.
- Cleaning: If the filter is dirty, clean or exchange it as
described. If necessary, replace the filter,

Hygienic exhaust filter (Fig. 22/1)
- Checking: Check the exhaust filter each time you
empty the dust container.

The filters can get dirty during prolonged use. That's
why it is important to adhere to the above changing inter-
vals.
Replace damaged filters immediately.
