Instructions on use and set-up of the
EOS Relax
6.1.
Noise generation/creaking
Our bed systems are designed and constructed to prevent noise or keep it to a
minimum, so that it does not become a nuisance.
However, an essential condition for the above is that the steps in the assembly
instructions are followed when assembling and installing the bed.
It is also necessary to ensure that the bed is set up in a manner that avoids
distortion and stresses. Uneven installation on carpet edges and sloping floors
will result in distortion.
6.2.
Indoor climate
Protect your bed from direct sunlight or very bright light, as no wood or fabric is
completely fade-proof. High-energy neon or halogen light can also cause col-
our and material changes as well as bleaching.
Ideally, the humidity level in the room should be between 45% and 55%. At
lower values, natural materials become brittle and synthetic fibres have a
higher tendency become electrostatically charged and/or soiled. Higher humi-
dity levels promote mould formation.
-
Ventilate your bedroom regularly (short periods of full ventilation).
-
Ensure sufficient air circulation on and under the mattress. We recom-
mend shaking pillows and duvets regularly and, ideally, leaving the latter
pulled back for a few hours – don't replace the covers until the bed has
been well aired.
-
In particular, if an additional mattress topper is used, this must be turned
from time to time.
