4. Preparation
1. Place the SIM card in your mobile phone. Deactivate the PIN
code (see your mobile phone's user manual).
2. Erase all Telephone numbers on the SIM card.
3. Remove and replace the SIM card.
4. Enter the phone number to which the CU2101 must call in case
of an alarm into memory 1.
5. Remove the SIM card from the mobile phone and place it in the CU2101.
6. Program the alarm telephone number of the CU2101 which must be dialled into your mobile phone. Name that
telephone number (e.g. Alarm Unit).
7. Connect a 12VDC/5mA power supply through either a power adapter or a battery. Never connect a battery
charger loading the CU2101 with a battery.
8. Connect the included UTP cable.
9. Switch on the CU2101. The red LED lights. Switch off the CU2101.
10. Connect the orange wire of the UTP cable to the COM of the sensor. Connect the orange/white wire of the UTP
cable to the NO. The CU2101 will now dial the programmed telephone number. Accept the call and break off the
connection.
