These instructions for use relate exclusively to the Craft-Meyer Universal Motorcycle Stand (for short:
lift stand). They contain important notes on safety and handling. Read these instructions carefully, in
particular the safety instructions, before using the lift stand. Failure to follow these instructions for
use can lead to serious injury or damage to the vehicle. Keep these instructions for future reference.
If you pass the lift stand on to a third party, you must also hand over these instructions for use. The
instructions for use are based on the standards and regulations applicable in the European Union
and reflect current state-of-the-art technology. If abroad, you should also observe any country-
specific guidelines and laws.

4 | Safety

4.1 | Intended use

Used correctly, the Craft-Meyer Lift Stand makes light work of any number of repair and maintenance
jobs on your motorcycle. It is only suitable for jacking up motorcycles with a straight box-profile rear
wheel swing arm without bobbins.
In order to prevent damage to the motorcycle and possible personal injuries, the lift stand must be
used with the utmost care and in accordance with these instructions for use and the specifications
of the vehicle manufacturer at all times.
The lift stand must only be used as described in these instructions. Any other use is considered
improper use and can result in material damage. The manufacturer and supplier accept no liability
for damage caused by improper or incorrect use.
