output frequencies. This achieves the best width-frequency response for
the US module.

Adjusting the output level of the amplifier
Connect the field measurer to the TEST connector of the amplifier and
make sure that the output of that amplifier is charged by means of a
distribution cable or with a 75Ω charge of the RS-275 type. Tune the
highest output channel measurer and adjust the RF output signal level with
the PA amplifier regulator, bearing in mind that the TEST tap is at -30 dB.
WARNING, the reduction of the maximum output level must be taken
into account depending on the number of channels amplified (including
the EXT input channels). The maximum level of work is calculated by
subtracting the reduction factor from the maximum output level (sheet of
characteristics). The table of level reductions is included in the ANNEX.
8.3
Adjusting the level of the channels from other units
With the field measurer connected to TEST, tune the measurer to each of
the channels from single channel units and adjust the level from the
adjuster of those channels. The level recommended is from 3 to 6 dB
higher than the satellite channels from US receivers.

ADJUSTING LEVELS WITH SINGLE CHANNEL
AMPLIFIERS
Once the unit is installed and every receiver programmed, tune the unit.
9.1
Adjusting the output level of receivers
Make sure that the output level adjuster of each receiver is at -0 dB.
