ECOTRONIC HiTech
M3 mode:
the controller activates the min speed setting after the bleed time. If the tem-
perature on the reference probes is greater than the set point, the speed will be
increased. If the temperature on the reference probes is lower than the set point,
the speed will be reduced.
M4 mode (system with 2 storage tanks):
When the main storage tank is loaded, the speed control will operate as in M3.
When the secondary storage tank is loaded, the speed control will operate as in
M1.
Bleed time
During this time, the pump runs at full speed (100%) to ensure safe starting. After this bleed
time, the pump adjusts the speed and is set to maximum or minimum, depending on the speed
control variant.
Adjustment time
The adjustment time determines the inertia of the speed control, to avoid strong temperature
fluctuations. The time interval entered here is the time required for a complete cycle from min-
imum speed to maximum speed.
Max. speed
The maximum pump speed is set here in %. During setting, the pump runs at the specified
speed and thus the flow rate can be determined.
The percentages specified are variables that can be higher or lower depending on
the system, pump and pump level. 100% is the maximum possible energy of the
controller.
Min. speed
The minimum pump speed is set here. During setting, the pump runs at the specified speed and
thus the flow rate can be determined.
The percentages specified are variables that can be higher or lower depending on
the system, pump and pump level. 100% is the maximum possible energy of the
controller.

pump and pump level. 100% is the maximum possible energy of the controller.
Set point
This value represents the control set point. If the value on the probe falls below this, the speed
is reduced. If exceeded, the speed is increased.
