REGULAR CLEANING, MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Before performing any inspection, maintenance,
cleaning procedures or leaving it unattended, make sure that:
- the ON/OFF power switch (1) of the air compressor is in its "OFF" position,
- the unit is unplugged from the electrical outlet,
- the air is drained from the tank
After finishing work with the tool, press the ON/OFF switch to switch off the
compressor and disconnect the compressor from the power supply.
Water, oil and dirt must not get inside the tool.
The safety valve should be checked daily for damage and inspected as mentioned
in the above table.
Never use solvents such as petrol, alcohol, ammonia water etc.!
These solvents can damage plastic parts.
17.1
Condensate
The condensate should be drained daily by opening the drain valve (at the bottom of
the pressure tank).
To do so, slowly and carefully unscrew (no more than four threads) the Tank Drain
Valve until the compressed air and condensation begins to be released from the
Tanks. Allow sufficient time for all of the air and condensation to escape from the
Tanks. Then, firmly re-tighten the Drain Valve.
17.2
Safety valve
The safety valve is set to the maximum allowable pressure of the pressure tank. It is
not permitted to adjust the safety valve or remove its seal.
