CHANGING ENGINE OIL:
Change oil after initial 50 hours. Thereafter it should be
changed every 250 hours of operation.
Drain as follows:
NOTE: IN CASE OF LOW USE: EVERY 6
MONTHS.
WARNING: IN DUSTY OR DIRTY CONDITIONS,
CHANGE OIL AND OIL FILTER EVERY 150
HOURS.
NOTE: CHANGE THE OIL WHILE THE ENGINE
IS STILL WARM, THE OIL WILL FLOW MORE
FREELY.
1. Remove drain plug and drain oil into an approved
container.
2. Reinstall drain plug.
3. Remove oil fill cap.
4. Fill to correct level with oil. Reinstall fill cap.
5. With engine on a level surface check that oil level is
between the "min" and "max" marks on dipstick.
WARNING: BEFORE RESTARTING, VERIFY
DIPSTICK, DRAIN, AND FILL CAP HAVE BEEN
CORREC TLY INSTALLED.

GLOVES. IF CONTACT CANNOT BE AVOIDED,
THOROUGHLY
WITH SOAP AND WATER. RESPECT THE
ENVIRONMENT; DISPOSE OF USED OIL IN

CAUTION: OIL BEING DRAINED MAY BE HOT.

The engine performance is adversely affected when the
air cleaner element is clogged with dust. Be sure to clean
the air filter element periodically.
1. Open air cleaner.
2. Unscrew wing nut and remove air filter.
3
Check that rubber seal is in good condition.
4. If the housing appears clogged, remove, clean, and
ressemble.
5. Reinstall rubber seal, and air filter, then tighten wing nut.
6. When replacing air filter, also replace the rubber seal,
(a new seal is included in new air filter package).
NOTE: DO NOT REUSE AIR FILTER OR
PRECLEANER
DETERIORATION HAS OCCURRED. REPLACE
WITH NEW.
