The letter's creation date appears below DATE. When
DATE is blinking, check the Clock and Date in Setup
Mode.

FREE Indicator
Available recording time in minutes appears below
FREE. When available time is 3 minutes or less, it begins
blinking (version 1.46d or higher).

H:MIN Indicator
The letter's creation time appears below H:MIN.

MIN:SEC Indicator
The letter's length or location appears below MIN:SEC.

Battery Charge Indicator — The four segments in this
symbol reflect the portable's available power from low to
high (0-4). The battery symbol at left includes four
segments, indicating a charge of 75% to 100%. When
the battery starts blinking, install charged batteries as
soon as possible.
