CUTTING-MEANS CONTROL CABLE INSPECTION
The motor must be switched on or off when the cutting-means
control lever [1] is positioned between the specified position [2].
Specified position: between 30 to 60 mm from the handle [3].

NOTE: If the motor is switched on or off outside of the specified
position, the system may need to be repaired. Take the machine to
your servicing dealer.
CUTTING-MEANS FITTING AND REMOVAL
CUTTING-MEANS REMOVAL
1. Ensure that isolator key and the battery pack are removed from
the machine.
2. Tilt the machine so that the yellow button side faces
upwards [1].

3. Use a 14 mm socket wrench and remove the 2 cutting-means
bolts [2] and special washers [3] from the cutting-means holder
[4].
Use a wooden block to prevent the cutting-means from turning
when removing the bolts.
4. Remove the cutting-means [5].

CUTTING-MEANS INSTALLATION
1. Clean dirt and grass from around the cutting-means mounting
area.
2. Install cutting-means [1] using the 2 cutting-means bolts [2] and
special washers [3] as shown.
Cutting-means bolt torque: 54 N·m

Fit the special washers with their convex side, marked "OUT",
facing the bolts.
The cutting-means bolts are specially designed for this
application and must not be replaced with other bolts.
3. Tighten the cutting-means bolts with a torque wrench.
Use a wooden block [4] to prevent the cutting-means from
turning.
CAUTION:
• If you do not have a torque wrench, ask your servicing dealer to
tighten the cutting-means bolts for you before you use the
machine.
• If the cutting-means bolts are too tight or too slack, they may
break or unscrew.
