Intended use
The 2-way audio selector switch is used to switch preamplifier output signals of audio devices in order to run
multiple devices on one preamplifier input.
This product may only be connected to the preamp connectors of audio devices.
The product may only be used in enclosed indoor locations. Outdoor use is not allowed. Do not expose the
product to moisture, e.g., in damp locations or the like.
Any use other than that described above will lead to damage to the product and will expose you to additional
risks, such as short circuits, fire, etc.
No part of the product may be modified or altered.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times.

Functional description
The 2-way audio switcher extents the connectivity options of your amplifier/preamplifier by another preamp
input.
The connected audio source devices can be selected with the selector switch.
The connection is made via RCA sockets, which are standard for these devices.
Connection
Connect only preamp outputs of audio devices to the RCA socket pairs INPUT A and
INPUT B.
C onnect only preamp inputs of audio devices to the fixed RCA cable.
Use only suitable, shielded RCA cables for connection. Use of other cables may lead to
interference.

Carefully check the relevant operating instructions of the devices that are to be con-
nected in regards to input and output wiring.
Failure to comply with these instructions can lead to damage to the 2-way audio switcher
or any connected devices.
Switch off the power switches of the devices to be connected before connecting them. Do
not switch them on again until you have made all the necessary connections and checked
them.
Follow the same procedure, when you are changing the connection to the 2-way audio
switcher.
• When connecting, observe the colour marking of the connection sockets:
R or red= right connection
L or black or white = left connection
• Connect. the RCA socket pairs INPUT A and INPUT B to the outputs of the audio source devices.
• Connect the fixed RCA cable with a preamp input of your amplifier / preamplifier.
Operation
• Turn on your audio source device and the amplifier / preamplifier and start your favoured music pro-
gramme.
• Select the input on the amplifier / preamplifier, where the connected RCA cable of the 2-way audio switcher
is connected.
• With the selector switch INPUT SELECT, select the desired source device.
• If the selector switch is not depressed the device at INPUT A is selected, if the selector switch is depressed
the device at INPUT B is selected.
Care and maintenance
The product does not have to be serviced and, except for occasional cleaning with a soft, dry cloth, requires
no maintenance whatsoever.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions as these may damage the surfaces.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste materials and must not be disposed of in the household
waste!
Please dispose of the product according to the current statutory requirements, when it is no
longer of use.
