Starting up DVR

DEVICE CONFIGURATION

1. Access the DVR OSD menu by pressing the right mouse button and enter the administrator password (default:
00000000), to check the firmware version that is currently installed in the DVR, access the menu page
"System" -> "Info". If the version is not recent, the DVR system software (firmware) can be updated by following
the instructions described in User Manual available in Urmet Web site (see QR code printed on the Addendum
sheet).
2. From the OSD menu on the "System" -> "General" page it is possible to select the device operating mode (see
red square in the image below):
• "XVR" indicates the hybrid mode by which the device is capable of recording the analogue camera (AHD or
standard analogue) and the IP cameras.
• "DVR" indicates the purely analogue recording mode: in this mode it is not possible to record IP cameras.

IMPORTANT

Only on some models does the use of the "DVR" mode (pure analogue) allows an increase in the maximum
recording speed of the analogue signals in terms of frame-rage per second of the single channel.
