To ensure that your steam cleaner is able to clean at full power, you should decalcify the
water tank at regular intervals (after approx. 25 – 50 applications) or if you notice that the
device needs more time to emit steam.
1. Fill the water tank with a mixture consisting of one part vinegar and two parts water.
2. Position the device so that the emission of steam doesn't come into contact with
sensitive fl oors or other objects.
3. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed socket that is easily accessible.
4. Move the On/Off switch to position I to turn the device on. Wait until the device has
reached the operating temperature and emits steam.
5. Let the vinegar/water mixture completely circulate until the water tank is empty.
6. Turn the device off and pull the mains plug out of the socket.
7. Rinse the water tank out once with fresh water to remove any residual vinegar and
odours.

ATTENTION!
• Scalding hazard! Always let the device cool off completely before you store it.
• Empty the water tank completely before you stow the device.
• Do not subject the device to extreme temperatures, severe temperature fl uctuations,
direct sunlight or moisture.
• Store the device in a frost-free, dry, clean, cool area that is not accessible to children
or animals.
• Prior to using the device again, the water tank should always be checked for residual
water and be completely emptied if necessary.
