Before fi rst use
ATTENTION!
• Risk of suffocation! Keep the packaging material away from children and animals.
1. Unpack all parts and make sure that the product contents are complete (see chapter
"Product contents") and check for any damages from transport. If you identify damages
to the components, do not use them (!), instead contact our customer service centre.
2. Pull any foils or stickers off of the device and accessories.
3. Assemble the device (see chapter "Assembling the device").
NOTICE: Water residue in the tank is attributed to previous testing of the device.

Assembling the device

ATTENTION!
• Danger of electrocution! During assembly or disassembly, the device must not be
connected to the mains supply and must have cooled off.
1. Carefully place all accessories on a level surface. As a precautionary measure, set
down a protective foil to prevent any damage to sensitive surfaces.
2. Connect the two parts of the handle bar (1+2). The handle bars must audibly lock into
place. To disassemble the handle bar, depress the catch on the top handle bar down
and at the same time, pull the handle bar out.
3. Insert the end of the assembled handle bar in the top opening of the main unit (A).
The handle bar must audibly lock into place. To remove the handle bar depress the
catch of the handle bar and pull the handle bar out at the same time.
4. Insert the end piece of the cleaning head (8) in the steam nozzle of the main unit (5)
until the cleaning head audibly locks into place. To remove the cleaning head, push
the release button (10) on the back of the main unit; at the same time, pull the main
unit off of the cleaning head.

Filling the water tank

ATTENTION!
• Always turn off the device before you fi ll the water tank.
• The water tank cannot be removed! Use the enclosed measuring cup to fi ll the water
tank!
• Never add cleaners or other additives to the water tank. They may irreparably dam-
age the device and as such, the safe operation of the device can no longer be as-
sured. Use cold distilled water or cold tap water to fi ll it.
• Do not overfi ll the water tank. Do not fi ll the water tank past the MAX mark.
• Never operate the device without water. In case of prolonged use, be sure to refi ll the
water tank in time.
