The cable entry of the instruments in the wall of areas requiring instruments of category 1D has to be
carried out in such a way that the protection class IP 6X acc. to EN 60529 is provided.
The measurement of media with temperatures exceeding the temperature ranges mentioned in the
tables have to be provided with cooling sections. However, the permissible surface temperatures
must not be exceeded which are valid for this range due to the defined temperature classes. In
addition, the temperature on the hexagon of the tubular housing should not exceed the max. value of
the defined temperature range mentioned in the tables.
