Special conditions for safe application
The mounting of the pressure transmitter into the wall of areas requiring instruments of category 1G
has to be carried out in such a way that protection class IP 67 acc. to EC 60529 is provided.
The mounting of the pressure transmitter into the wall of areas requiring instruments of category 1D
has to be carried out in such a way that protection class IP 6X acc. to EN 60529 is provided.
The technical information of the manufacturer for the use of the pressure transmitters in
aggressive/corrosive media and to avoid mechanical damage have to be observed.
If the pressure transmitter is used in areas requiring instruments of category 1, the screen of the
connection cable must be integrated into the potential equalisation of the vessel.
The cable entry of the instruments in the wall of areas requiring instruments of category 1G has to be
carried out in such a way that the protection class IP 67 acc. to EN 60529 is provided.
