Install the lid seal into the lid. Place lid on top of bowl and lock in

place by turning counter-clockwise. - fig.4.

EITHER THE BOWL OR LID IS NOT SECURELY
LOCKED IN PLACE.
Press on the lid to start chopping. To prevent damage to the

bowl, the chopper should not be operated empty. - fig.5.
SUGGESTED FOODS
The measuring markings on the bowl take into account the blade
■
and are provided as a guide only. Note the max fill line which should
never be exceeded.
The chopper is excellent for chopping, blending, and pureeing small
■
quantities of foods.
For best results, cut large foods into small pieces before adding to
■
the bowl to prevent jamming.
Pulse foods using short bursts of power, using the spatula to
■
scrape down the sides of the bowl and re-distribute foods around
the bowl before continuing.
Use the emulsifying disk for homemade mayonnaise, creamy dres-
■
sings, or fresh whipped cream.
Mince fresh herbs, garlic, and onion with the chopping blade, then
■
blend with oil and vinegar for salad dressings
Puree fruits for dessert sauces or cooled, cooked vegetables for
■
baby foods
Make dips and appetizers: guacamole, salsa, hummus, bruschetta
■
or crostini toppings
Chop hard boiled eggs for egg salad sandwiches or ham, vegeta-
■
bles, cheese and herbs for filled omelets
Chop small amounts of nuts for baking
■
